Birmingham Tree House is located in historic Five Points South neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The house is a national historic registered mansion built in 1898. Our small hotel is located a few blocks from UAB: University of Alabama Birmingham. Five Points South is known for divine food options such as James Beard Award-winning restaurant, Chez FonFon. Other notable restaurants that are in walking distance include Galley and Garden, Surin West, and Botega. There are plenty of casual and late night options too- guests love to stroll over to Marty’s PM, the iconic bar and restaurant. Welcome to Birmingham’s original entertainment district.Â
 Â
The street is quiet, quaint, and safely located across from Birmingham's South Precint Police Department. Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center along with a historic apartments complex. A few of our guest rooms have an iconic view of the pictureque statue holding a light that towers over our Magic City. That’s Vulcan- the largest cast iron statue in the world. He is god of the fire and forge and a city symbol. Vulcan Trail is right at our backyard and if you make it all the way up there, you'll come to a nice running trail at the base. A museum is located at the top of the Vulcan park. Beaming at 56 feet tall, Vulcan is a wonderful and unqiue experience for Tree House guests.
